We became enchanted with The Elms Hotel & Spa on a wintery weekend early 2018. We loved its charm and warmth. We loved that it’s equal part whimsy and history. We loved that it allows this wedding event to be a weekend of all of our favorite souls in one zip code. It’s got yummy drinks, good massages, and big trees that have certainly have seen things. It feels a little like home and we hope you delight in all its nooks come what May.

GETTING TO THE HOTEL

The Elms is located at 401 Regent Street Excelsior Springs, Missouri 64024. Kansas City International Airport (MCI) is recommended for out-of-town guests. The hotel is about 40 minutes by car from the airport. While Uber is available in Kansas City and the airport, it is less reliable in Excelsior Springs. If you need help navigating logistics please get in contact with the bride and groom.  

RESERVING A ROOM

 A block of rooms has been held in the bride and groom’s name and one-bedroom suites are available. Reservations can be made by calling the hotel at 816-630-5500, dialing 0 and requesting a room with the Spangler Wedding. GETTING TO THE CEREMONY

The ceremony will be held in the Gazebo located in the south lawn of The Elms property. Services will begin promptly at 4:30 pm Saturday May 4. Guests may begin finding seats at 4:00 pm. Please exit the hotel from the lobby’s west doors and follow the path to the south. Event attendants will be present in the hotel lobby to direct wedding guest traffic.
